Madonna, 50, has won her appeal to adopt her 2nd Malawian child – Chifundo “Mercy” James, the BBC Reports.
This of course comes as no surprise really. What Madge wants, Madge gets! And it’s silly to try and stop or otherwise interfere with that!
The recently divorced material girl is reportedly “excited” about the decision and rightfully so. It’s always fabulous when you get your way!
“In our view, Chifundo James is better taken care of by being adopted by foreign parents who will give her love and affection,” Lovemore Munlo is quoted as saying.
“The appeals court said the earlier decision had been based on a narrow interpretation of old laws,” the report points out. No shit!
Baby Mercy has been living in an orphanage since her 18-year-old mother died shortly after giving birth the BBC article points out. Of course this is to change as you read this posting as Alan Chinula – Madonna’s attorney – is “arranging a passport for Mercy and is waiting to hear from Madonna about travel plans for the child.”
