Colombian cross-over recording sensation and all around hotness – Juanes, has caused every American-Cuban within the little-Havana region of Miami to go into a tizzy of late.
And all because of his participation in the “Peace without Frontiers” concert in their homeland this Sunday, September 20th.
Protest has gone as far as to have rallies and demonstrations where his CD’s have been burned.
Now I am not into politics nor do I ever want to tell folks where to reside in the political arena but it seems to me that the bullshit should stop and let the artist do his thing where he wishes.
And doesn’t the whole CD burning have a slight communist feel to it? Seems to me that Cubans should rejoice in the freedom their adopted land has afforded them and quit trying to regulate the freedoms of others.
Not judging, simply making an observation…
