South American pop/rock belly dancing cross-over diva – Shakira, has now gone on record as stating that her biological “clock is ticking.” And that she hears it loud and clear – wanting to answer its call! Or so the Rolling Stone article suggests.

“My body feels like it is asking to reproduce, to have a huge belly and carry babies,” Shakira says in the new issue.

Now what I am left wondering is if she means to get PG with her investment banker beau of nine years and son of ousted ex-president – Antonio de la Rua. The same man who has been caught cheating on her – more than once!

de la Rua has a history of infidelity and was snapped by a NY pap kissing on and leaving a NY hotspot with a girl of color back in 2007. An incident his (and her people, given that she is the one with the fame and money,) paid five figures to buy the rights to the circulating small collection of photos. Thus guaranteeing the story got squashed and never went to print.
