Occasionally the good folks over at Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS call upon me to snap a pic or two at their fabulous fetes and, given my penchant for glamour, razzle-dazzle and free booze, I go running like some raving detoxed bitch fresh out of Promises trying to get to the front of the bar! What can I tell you…
So when I got the call asking me to come down and shoot at BCEFA’s annual Salon party, held at a Central Park South apartment with breathtaking views of the park, it was a no brainer.
This years’ “I Used to Dance Around the Living Room” theme hit close to my heart given that I can be found doing this very thing on any given day to Liza’s Cabaret recordings – don’t you judge me!
Among those aiding in making this an amazing night of good food, Cliquot and fabulous tunes in a packed dwelling were: Cady Huffman, Tony winner – Greg Jbara, AMC’s Bobbie Eakes, Late Show’s Paul Schafer, Kate Shindle, hotness – Kevin Spirtas, Ann Harada, Kassie Depaiva, Kathy Brier, Olivia D’Abo, “Billie Elliot” Tony winner cutie Trent Kowalik and diva – Maya Day, who brought the evening to a fierce closing with a “Last Dance” rendition to rival the original! Girl worked it out.
