Tim Tebow: Superbowl Ad Spot Dumbass

Tim Tebow Topless for GQ Magazine

You know the old saying – something about abstaining from talking bout politics, religion and well, I can never remember the third one actually.  That should attest to how much I listened…

Here is Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow with his mother in a commercial advertisement that allegedly went for $3 Million per 30 second spots during this years Superbowl.  The spot was paid for by Focus on the Family – an anti-pro-choice group looking to do away with Roe-v-Wade and a woman’s right to choose.

I can’t earnestly say that it is my place to tell Mr. twink Tebow and his mom anything on the topic – not really.  But I damn sure can comment on their conviction in taking what is a personal choice out to the masses!

What is it about American’s that makes us think we can have a right to regulate what thy neighbor chooses to do behind their own closed doors.

It is RTnM’s position that abortion and all that goes with the topic is – ultimately – a woman’s decision and if anyone else is allowed to chime in, it is non-other than the dumbass who neglected to either wrap the little man or get him snipped so as to prevent an unwanted pregnancy!  Full stop.

Were it that Tebow had gone and knocked up some wayward tail-gater ho and then spoke with said girl, thus concluding the two parties involved to carry on with an unwanted, unexpected and unplanned pregnancy – well, more power to it.  But get the fuck off the morality high tower and mind your fucking business.

And $3 million for 30 seconds?  W-O-W!  I daresay that there are hundreds of better uses for such an amount of $$$….  How bout Haiti, Mr. Tebow and folks at Focus on the Family.  Surely babies and families with nothing left – not even drinking water, are a cause that rival you wanting to regulate other people’s private business.  Just a thought.
