The real issue here has nothing to do with the fact that Reichen was on a camming website. This whole thing says more about the people who have posted these pictures and commented on them than anything else. More than anything else, It’s a tragic statement of Perez Hilton’s character, as well as the character of the individuals that have reposted the material. Reichen is right, the majority of gay men have either cammed with other men at some point or sent nude photos to each other. It happens every day, all the time. I’m sure many of those who are “casting the first stone” have sent similar photos on grindr, etc. I wonder what makes people think they can post pictures of a private nature on the internet simply because an individual happens to be in the public eye. It seems that loss of anonymity in public is difficult enough; say nothing about the media delving into his private life. The sad thing about all this is that by attacking other members of the gay community, we diminish our credibility and our ability to get the rights we deserve. It was not only short-sighted of Perez Hilton to post these photos in terms of what the gay community is fighting for, but it was also downright mean and unnecessary. We all know Reichen is a reality television star, but what some people seem to forget is that the majority of his work is aimed at serving the gay community by speaking at human rights conferences and rallying support for gay rights. Reichen deserves better than this. It’s time we give Reichen the support he deserves. He’s passionate about the work he does for the gay community. And yes, he’s human like the rest of us. We should feel fortunate to have someone representing us who is living the lifestyle we all want to feel free to live; but to have it be at his expense is insanity. Let’s take a look at what kind of world we want to build as a society and work towards that. Letting go of our judgments of others would be a good start, that’s what we’re fighting for after all, right? At the very least, let’s stop undermining members of our community that are giving so much to build a more accepting world.

i’m not a fan of mr.lehmkul however his penis size matters very little. he’s right in saying he’s done nothing that none of us have done on websites like manhunt, gaydar and so on.
so the preaching should stop. and if one disagrees with it then let it be just that. the judgments are really only a reflection of yourselves.
