Dark Knight Rises accused gunman James Holmes appears before a Colorado court.

Accused sociopath James Holmes appeared before a judge today for the first time since he was taken into custody for the midnight shooting spree at The Dark Knight Rises opening.  Holmes looked bewildered, dazed and not altogether coherent.

The presiding judge read the existing charges which all amount to felonies that will look to put his young ass away from LIFE – if not land himself in the death penalty listing.

We can’t help but wonder what mental disorder Holmes shares a mind with – cuz for sure it isn’t much of a stretch to deduce that he is not of sound mind.

Don’t y’all be surprised if it shortly comes to light that he is bipolar, schizophrenic or worse.

Is there worse?  Never mind.

Seeing him in court, however, with his pinkish orange disheveled do, reaffirms our belief that the previously alleged profile photo, although similar, isn’t the same individual.  Something about the size of the forehead and the nose don’t match.  But we could be wrong.

What is obvious is that during the televised court appearance – which lasted approximately ten minutes – Holmes has the look of someone afraid of what is happening to him.  And although we are sure to get tons of hate emails for saying so, we can’t help but feel a tinge of pity for what he is about to endure after his unspeakable acts which left 12 innocent people dead and dozens more injured during the attack at an Aurora multiplex.

Holmes is scheduled to reappear in court seven days from today.
