Minka Kelly stops by the Letterman Show to plug the Charlie's Angels reboot

We recently caught up with beauty Minka Kelly during a David Letterman appearance attempting to plug the new reboot of the 70s classic “Charlie’s Angels.”  You know the one, it ran for a bunch of seasons and spawned a bunch of scandal when one of the original cast members – Farrah Fawcett – was unceremoniously dropped from the show cuz she went and got all diva on the producer Aaron Spelling.  Not the wisest of moves really.

Well the now iconic show which was adapted for the big screen with some decent success has doubled back onto the small screen in large part due to the woman who reworked it once already Ms. Drew Barrymore, who is now the current show’s producer.

The title itself is an attention getter with “three little girls who went to the Police Academy.”  And in this case it’s where the attention ends.

No, really.

We happened on catching the last episode and marveled at how god awful it truly is.  Marveled cuz its like being handed a sure thing already lubed and promising a smooth ride.

Almost idiot proof!   Spelling was a TV genius – if an ugly bugged eyed looking one.

For starters the suits have relocated the setting to Miami – so two decades ago!  They have also made the Angel’s ex-cons of sorts with rap sheets rather than under used cadets.  And as pretty as Kelly and her sidekicks are the writing and acting is equally as bad.

We don’t see this show going the distance or lasting the season for that matter.  But Kelly sure is pretty.

Drew Barrymore: Everybody’s Fine!

I have grown up on Drew Barrymore and her wicked antics.  From her stellar  childhood performances and her covers of People during her partying days on to her flashing Letterman!  I love this girl.

She is someone I would hang out and have drinks with…

So of course I had every intent on covering the “Everybody’s Fine” NY premiere at Loews Lincoln Square last night.  It’s Drew, dammit!

And girl did not disappoint.  She arrived wearing a Pucci sequined dress and Manolo stiletto’s, adorned with a “Deborah Harry do.”

I professed my love to the eternal beauty queen and she took a moment and said “thank you, that’s so sweet.  I should have you with me all the time.”

‘Just call me,’ was my response!

Barrymore and Long: Going the Distance

I raced over to Central Park yesterday just in time to catch Drew Barrymore and my future ex-husband – Justin Long, filming scenes for their new film “Going the Distance.”

And boy was the effort worth my while! The duo spent their time racing around Sheep’s Meadow playing a friendly game of football amidst frolicking on the grass.

Of course the scene actually played differently in my mind… I envisioned me in Drew’s place and us wearing a little less clothing!

Don’t you judge me for it – I never said I was well adjusted…

Justin Long said to be Justin Short

Justin Long is anything but in the endowment department, according to an undisclosed crew member on the set of his new film “Going the Distance.”

This bit of news is rather odd coming from someone making their living in part to the stars of the film: Drew Barrymore, Justin Long and Christina Applegate.

The story told is that when time came for a love scene with Barrymore and Long, cuteness was anything buy shy and went full frontal.

The same crew member, standing in the street for the take, observed Long from the driveway standing in the window and registered his endowment for commentary. Discreet, no?

Not being present myself, but having ample knowledge of the male – form from years of research, I quickly offered my take on the matter: Long could be a grower and not a shower! Never mind the distance involved!

But truth is that most hetero guys think theirs is the biggest willy ever packaged.

In the end I concluded that this particular crew dude’s locker room talk was likely the demonstration of bitterness over his own shortcomings and Long not only being hotness, reportedly banging Barrymore off camera but making more coins than he will see schlepping lighting equipment. Just my own observation on the matter.

Applegate in Riverdale

Christina Applegate could be found in Riverdale, NY this past week, while shooting scenes from the romantic comedy “Going the Distance.”

The film also stars the reformed bad girl – Drew Barrymore, and her on-again, off-again love, Justin Long.

This being three of my favorite folks, I had to try to pay the set a visit a some point. But I could have pulled out a molar quicker than getting a pic of any of them.

Ms. Applegate was said to be “under the weather.” More often than not this is a phrase I have always found to mean lady problems. Although, Ms. “Samantha Who” executive producer was feeling good enough to go from the trailer to the van, and from the van to the inside of the house they were shooting at quickly enough. Perhaps she popped some Midol without telling anyone…

When we attempted to barter with security for the opportunity of an unobstructed photo (it happens,) they returned to say that Ms. Barrymore was going to be shuttling it due to being hit on set. You figure that one out…

So in the end this pic is all I came away with! Thanks a bunch Kelly Bundy!

Cameron Dias: Sisters’ Keeper Prem

Cameron Diaz pulled a rare form and was all compliant at the world premiere of her new film “My Sister’s Keeper,” last night in NYC.

Dressed in a white asymmetrical cocktail number, Diaz proved to be none the diva of the night by showing up first!

The part Cuban hotness even surprised some by responding to calls in Spanish… How’s that for a shocker?

Diaz will soon be reprising her “Charlie’s Angel” role opposite Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu. That is one I am eagerly waiting on!

Drew Barrymore keeps getting better with age! Her body is ripe, and her fashion sense is to be reckoned with – seriously, who else could work a veil on a red carpet better?

The one time child star, doing duty promoting her HBO remake of “Grey Gardens,” worked a basic black cocktail dress and wowed the crowd at her Letterman appearance yesterday. And if this X17 video is testament, it left one pap-per fully satisfied! (You go Carmen!)

Dumb Drew!

Drew Barrymore is one of those everlasting Hollywood stars. Drugs, booze and weight issues (which she appears to have in control for sometime now,) are all issues the child star has battled – publicly. But the one thing she has always been a slave too is a co-dependency to men.
Girlfriend is now claiming she has it beat. People is reporting on her Harper’s Bazaar interview where the youthful 32 year old states, “My priorities have changed so much, I’ve been single for months now and I’ve turned my attention toward my passions, my friends, and the causes I believe in. It’s been about learning who I am, not through a man, but for myself.”

Right… What is it about some dick that turns some folks into dumbasses? It’s size and girth? (It is for me!) Barrymore has money, fame, looks, money, health and a number of other things that most folks wont ever have – but a dick comes along and girl is swept onto her back with her legs permanently spread awaiting entry! Is it the proverbial not having been loved enough as a child? MIA male figure? Fucked up parenting?

“I’ve had a couple fun, frolicky relationships, but really, I got out of a five-year relationship and I dated a few people here and there,” Barrymore goes on to divulge. We know drew, they were back-to-back!

The one time E.T darling adds that she’s “been spending time with friends and doing more traveling with the U.N. and challenging [her]self at work.”

I don’t want to throw lube onto her bedspread but work wont scratch that itch forever, girl! What you need is a ripe booty-call on speed dial – the kind you dont take out in public but invite over and keep naked in your home, servicing you, then sending home.
