Cory Monteith: Glee Village People Homage

We love ourselves some Glee. Fact. We also have an affinity to things camp. Don’t ask why? We don’t. It’s just fun. So when we came cross this here Twit-pic by Cory Monteith and Glee cast mates dressed in The Village People garb, well, we just had to make use of it.
We would have assigned the costumes a bit differently – say Chord as the Indian given the body he has, but over all we dig Mark Salling as the cop. He can bust us anytime!
Now don’t go asking if this here infers that the show will do a retro disco Village People episode. Cuz the answer is we know not! And we ain’t that close to Ryan Murphy. We sent him a message once for a coffee run and are still waiting on a response!
But he’s rightly busy churning out the genius to one of the only reasons we turn on our flat screen, so we ain’t complaining to much.
Glee: Parks in Washington Square

The Glee gang raced into NYC’s Washington Square Park a few days ago to the hoots and holler of hundreds of fans. And with this elaborate cast scene the hit show wrapped up filming in Gotham for their upcoming season finale. We joined the hoards of fan in celebrating their visit and capturing a few keepsakes – cuz lord knows if they will ever be back! On set were: twink-a-licious Chord Overstreet, Chris Colfer, Mark Salling, Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Harry Shum Jr., Dianna Agron, Lea Michele, Amber Riley, Ashley Fink, Naya Rivera and Heather Morris. The group was joined by shows creator Ryan Murphy.
We are especially thankful to Naya and Heather for taking a momentary pause from working on location and schedule to pose for pics in front of the packed fans watching filming. Kudos girls!
Like youngsters, it was gleeful to watch Mark Salling give Cory Monteith skateboarding tips which he then attempted to put into practice. Apparantly Cory knows not how to ride…
Well, to that we can only offer him to try to find the pleasure spot and work it from there!
Of course Lea Michele had to throw herself into the mix when Cory’s lessons were taking the photographers attention for too long. We kid you know. She commandeered Salling for an impromptu lesson – in front of awaiting paps – in heels.
Wow.
We look forward to the episode with awaiting glee!
Glee Cast Takes Over Central Park

If there was any doubt about the widespread popularity of Ryan Murphy’s High School sensation “Glee,” it could easily be dispelled with visiting their on-location shoots. Fans by the hundreds! Now we are not of that group, personally. We don’t mind telling y’all that Glee is one of the few reasons we turn on our TV for a network show. And as much as we enjoy the characters on the show, there was little chance we could skip visiting the set in Gotham during their week of NYC location shoots for their upcoming finale.
Much to our own level of glee, the entire teen-esque portion of the cast was present. Dianna Agron, Cory Monteith, Harry Shum Jr., Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera, Lea Michele, Chord Overstreet, Mark Salling, Amber Riley, Heather Morris, Kevin McHale – all having a celebrated good time.
Dealing with the hordes of fans on the other hand, was a remarkably controlled situation.
One of the benefits of being on the set of a show with such a big cast is getting to observe and listen to general goings on by cast and crew 1st hand.
For example, Chord Overstreet is one fine beauty! Total hotness. His mouth begs sinful thoughts. We can’t however figure out how something so beautiful made it so far without being violated somehow…
Lea Michele acts as the want-to-be center of attention on the show but on set and in between takes she works just as hard for attention. Which makes us wonder if she is acting at all…?
Her efforts for ‘look-at’me’ moments go as far as including shows creator Ryan Murphy. (Not that we are saying that is a bad thing really…)
I.E.: When Murphy was looking for a second cast member to hold an additional set of balloons for the scene, Michele all but sprained an ankle jumping forward and yelling “I’ll do it!” The balloons went to another – Naya Rivera.
Ashley Fink proclaiming ”I need a candy bar” as the scene ended. Certainly an eyebrow raiser and a humourous moment, especially since we’d have wrestled her for a Twix at tat moment – had one materialized.
And when Murphy was overheard wondering if Michele would be “offended” by their use of Central Park horses in the scene, well, we weren’t at all surprised about caution over upsetting the shows make-shift diva.
Over all though, it was a fun filled afternoon with Madonna on a continuous playback! Who could complain any…?
Mark Salling: Half Naked Nature Man
Posted by Native NYker in glee, mark salling on March 29, 2011
Mark Salling, of Glee fame, is one of the boys on the show who brings some sass into the musical endeavor. There’s a butch realness about him that draws you in and leaves you wanting for more… So its little surprise that he is a nature dude – with a twist. The twist is that even while fishing, boy is doing his ‘I’m a celebrity, bitch’ shades look.
We are just kidding, cuz he can do anything he wants while showing us some flesh!
Here is Salling showing off his catch while vacationing in good ole Texas – topless. Hottie posted this and others via his Twitter page with a message: Continuing the recharging of my soul in beautiful East Texas.
And the crowds sing in praise!
He continued sharing pics of his homecoming depicting a visit with his “living treasure” Granny and “incomparable” pet pooch Frank. Just a good ole wholesome yummy boy that Salling is.
Fox Upfronts: Glee-full

The handsome Matthew Morrison, sassy Jane Lynch, yummy Cory Monteith, beauty Lea Michele, lovely Jayma Mays, fashionable Jessalyn Gilsig, mod Kevin McHale, cheerio Jenna Ushkowitz, kissable Chris Colfer, radiant Amber Riley, butch Mark Salling, svelt Dianna Agron, cheerio Heather Morris, Naya Rivera and Harry Shum Jr. – who showed us the love - collectively better known as the uber-hit cast of the FOX show “Glee,” powered onto the arrivals assembly line during the 2010 Programming Presentation – better known as The Upfronts, at Wolman Rink last night.
The network provided access to all the stars of their Fall lineup – new programs and returning shows but it was this multi-generational sensation that brought the cavalry of paps into the fold.
Now I am a die-hard fan of the show – Lynch and Morrison’s banter get me cackling something ferocious. But I will say that getting within close proximity of Colfer, Monteith and Salling is a treat hard to beat.
The cast was gracious and fun and extremely accommodating – and for that we here at RTnM are truly Glee-full!
Michele let it drop that this upcoming season someone on the cast drops the L-O-V-E word – but she wouldn’t divulge who, nor to whom! Given that I already professed my undying admiration to the cast I believe it only right the feeling be be reciprocated in part! (Call anytime…I put out Mr.)
