Boardwalk Empire shoots in Yonkers, NY.
Here is an embarrassing classic example of the downside to not watching TV. Boardwalk Empire, the HBO series, which stars Steve Buscemi, stopped in Yonkers, NY recently to film on location. This being a old stomping ground, one which we happened to find ourselves in, we thought we’d take a saunter by.
We’ve admittedly never watched the show and, as a general rule don’t generally watch TV – cept for maybe Big Bang Theory, and that is if we happen to be home when its on. We did however know that Michael Pitt, Paz de la Huerta and Bobby Cannavale also happen to be part of the cast (at some point in the past.) At times one gets lucky visiting a film set. Don’t know how it happens but it does. The Animal Rescue set, presently filming on location throughout Brooklyn and Queens, starring Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace, happened to be one of those times. We arrived minutes before the talent came on – one after the other – to film an exterior scene with their puppy.

We heard of Dylan McDermott stopping in Yonkers, NY to film a new CBS pilot called “Hostages,” costarring Toni Collette, yesterday, and we thought ‘why not give it a go.’ Aren’t we glad we did! A quick stop by and shortly after arriving the strapping lad, script in hand, surfaced and proceeded to make his way to the set.
We have been ardent admirers of tall, dark and deep voiced hottie for sometime now and, as we stood snapping away, the thought of all the things we’d like to do to him immediately came to mind. Sue us, we think he is all types of naughty looking.

Shailene Woodley, of The Secret Life of The American Teenager and The Descendants fame, can be presently found on the set of the currently filming follow up to the blockbuster creepy-crawley flick re-boot “The Amazing Spider-Man II.” The role: Mary Jane. Co-stars: Andrew Garfield and all around talent and beauty Emma Stone. (Cheers, applause, accolades!)
It’s gotta be bittersweet for her right about now.

John Hawkes films fight scene in Greenwich, CT for the upcoming film Untitled Elmore Leonard Project.
For those of you who don’t know, John Hawkes is an OSCAR nominated actor. He has co-starred in countless films and is presently co-starring in Untitled Elmore Leonard Project alongside Jennifer Aniston.
We think of her as being box office poison but that is an entirely other topic.
Our own thoughts of Aniston’s on-screen success – or lack there of, aside, it was truly with her in mind that we decided to pay the set a visit during their Greenwich, CT action scene shoot which was slated to spill out onto the street and escalate into not only a fight scene but give way to a chase.

Without a doubt, the nicest celebrity EVER mention goes to Mariska Hargitay of Law & Order: SVU. She is just simply the nicest person – say nothing of hard working. We’ve watched Hargitay do take after take of a scene, take a spill on a chase and dust herself off and get back to it as if nothings happened – in scorching NYC temperatures.
We’ve also watched her, as in the case of the above photo, brave this here cold blast the North-East has been experiencing and make like its nothing more than a bed of roses, with a few icicles left over as they march onto Spring.
That woman is a trooper!
We might also point out that she does it all with a smile and a wave for all her fans and the following photographers alike. And it’s not as if she has to!
This begs the question and wondering if her malleable disposition is something attributed to her iconic mom Jayne Mansfield…? Cuz let’s face it Old-Hollywood knew how to charm snakes.
We swung by the Yonkers, NY stop of SVU’s on-location shoots and managed to get a few frames of long running drama headliner and marveled at her sweet disposition even as wind chill’s brought the temps down into single digits.
Girl, write a book… Cuz there are lesser talented folks out there with bigger tudes and wretched dispositions in the face of the very same…
Well, we won’t get too into that and just say ‘we love and appreciate you Ms. Hargitay!’
We still wonder if she misses her old co-star Chris Meloni, but the weather was too dire to get any words out past a quick “thank you!” and a slow moving sprint back to our car! Next time…

We have been jonesing to get a few clicks on hotness Colin Farrell on the set of A Winter’s Tale. And yesterday afternoon, we got out fix. Word came later of the set taking residence in Central Park and no sooner had we read the last line of its locale and we were out the door in a sprint.

Are We Officially Dating is a question Zac Efron needn’t ever ask. Most everyone on the planet to his liking would assuredly be well at ease with making his periodic Black Book listing of late-night booty call. Present company included. But this isn’t about getting to tap that fine ass of his – at all. That’s the working title of his new film, presently filming on-location in NYC.

Blake Lively and Leighton Meester: Gossip Girl Trailers

We happened on Blake Lively and Leighton Meester, coming and going to and from their trailers, after filming in the Wall Street area of NYC yesterday. And as the handlers rushed about, attempting to look busy, we simply stopped for a quick fag to capture the keep sake on our trusty IPhone.
We are always thinking of y’all!
Gossip Girl steadfastly enters its last season which presently looms on the horizon. And some folks are rejoicing. We remain neutral on the matter, although some on the show are less than our faves. Sure, we have enjoyed visiting the set and dealing with the personified starlet attitudes but it shall be no longer! We will simply wish them – not all – well and continued work.
We’d hoped to have a glimpse of Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley, cuz lets face it those two are way easy on the eyes, but it was not to be, and we couldn’t spend too much time waiting on the starlets to surface. So this here video is what it is and there you have it.
We did however have enough time to marvel at how the two leading ladies snubbed a handful of awaiting fans, some of which came all the way from Germany, and wouldn’t even sign autographs for them.
Wow!
Our other observation was along the lines of how dowdy Meester looks. And did she gain weight?
But let that be a lesson… Be careful where you place your adoration, we say.
The Bounty Hunter Trailer

It’s always fascinating to see a movie trailer released after you have paid dues attempting to get pics from the set while it is filming on location.
Is getting pics enjoyable? Hell yeah! But I still say I am underpaid.
Of course, I mind very little when one of the film’s stars happens to be Gerard Butler. That is alpha-male city. I would gladly stand on some street corner, fetch his coffee, run his lines, press his wardrobe, be his stand-in, run his bath, fluff him – you name it! I can multi-task. Jennifer Aniston, on the other hand – not so much…
Here is the movie trailer for the duos upcoming flick “The Bounty Hunter.” Of course I am all to happy to share this with y’all as it gives me further use of a few of my photos.
Do I intend on running to the theater to see it? No comment!
