Tom Hardy: The Men of The Dark Knight Rises NYC Premiere

Tom Hardy and his costars Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Will Estes, Morgan Freeman, Josh Stewart, Scare Crow himself Cillian Murphy and our beloved Joseph Gordon-Levitt were joined by Daughtry, Ron Howard, Dennis Haysbert and Penn Badgley at the world premiere of The Dark Knight Rises on Manhattan’s UWS, yesterday.  And the crowd spanned a city block for a glimpse of all that testosterone.

And who can blame them?  We ain’t going to complain about the men out-numbering the women at the Batman preview any.  To us, that fact is some serious icing on a flavorful cake.  A plus with party written all over it.  We ain’t greedy or nothing, it merely serves for diversity and keeping busy is all.

We can’t imagine this truly being the end of the re-boot.  It just can’t be.  We imagine this will break box office records and Bale will be threatened with single-handedly being responsible for the break down of Hollywood itself if he doesn’t return and fulfill his duties.

Alright, that’s a bit much but he has taken the Batman role to new dark heights and for that we can all be eternally grateful.

We still remain with some reservations about the chosen party to take on Cat Woman but as the title suggest, this is about the MEN!  Get set for a kick-ass weekend.

Taylor Momsen: Gossip Girl UES Set

Let us commence this Friday with giving thanks to the gods in the heavens above for Taylor Momsen’s return to the Gossip Girl set. 

She is one beauty we don’t mind waiting on. 

Now that her album is done, campaigns have been signed and the tacky suits on the show know girls got talent and major marketability – she is back, and we coudln’t be happier!

Truth be told, she is one of the only reasons we visit the set for photos.  Cuz no one else there can work multiple cameras, at the same time, like she can!   That’s fact.

Also on set were hottie Penn Badgley and Amanda Setton along with her “Wanna-Be’s” cohorts. 

The chubby-poo addition in the photo above is one mess I couldn’t get out of my frame – it’s a large mess, and for that I apologize.  It could tentatively hurt your eyes – be warned.

Ms. Thing is always in the wrong spot at the wrong time, accompanied by her delusion of grandeur – MESS I tell you. 

Heres hoping this photo of it standing next to beauty  encourages it to take a more active stance on it’s personal appearance – the teeth we will discuss at a later date.

Penn Badgley and Connor Paolo: GG Set Buddies

Gossip Girl hotties Connor Paolo and Penn Badgley proved to be the best of buddies during their on-location shoot in Brooklyn, NY a few days ago. 

I turned a corner and bam!  There they were shooting the breeze and my heart skipped a beat! 

The duo pal’ed around prepping for their scene together and casually chatted while walking unescorted to the set for rehearsals.  

Of course that is before the swarm of fans got wind of it and security stepped in and spoiled it for them.  And once Chace Crawford arrived things were getting heated.  

I can’t fault any of them as it is quite easy to lose yourself in that beauty.   

The show has officially wrapped filming and won’t be back for a good while so for now, we will have to make do with watching the WB hit on TV.

Penn Badgley and Leighton Meester shot “Gossip Girl” scenes in Brooklyn, NY the other day. 

From what I could make of the scene, Meester’s maid goes into labor and they push her fat ass into a car and take off…

I for one do not get all that excited by the thought of Leighton.  She hurts my eyes.  But work is work – I reckon.  And I must say that Penn is a hottie, so my grounds for complaint are vastly diminished.

Blake Lively: Angel Ball

Blake Lively showed off a newly svelte figure on the red carpet at the Angel Ball 2009 benefit last night, held at Cipriani Wall Street.

She graciously extended her beau – Penn Badgley, first dibs on the carpet while she watched in admiration before then sauntering on herself to show off a form-fitting black cocktail dress looking like she dropped the proverbial last ten lbs. The look easily stole the spotlight!

If I didn’t know better I’d say she was vying for the Barbie big screen adaptation!

Penn Badgley: The Stepfather

Penn Badgley is apparently making a run for the big screen, starring in “The Stepfather,” opposite Sela Ward, Dylan Walsh and Skyler Samuels.

And to cement garnering as much attention as possible to the event, his cast-mates came out in droves to “support” the Gossip Girl costar. Including Ed Westwick (who must be itching to cross-over,) Matthew Settle, Connor Paolo (who should get back on the big screen!,) Chris Riggi – looking like he was wearing a coming out outfit, Jessica Szohr – who attempted to downplay her red carpet appearance in lieu of not upstaging her cast-mate, Chace Crawford – never one to shy away from a camera and the diva of all fierceness on GG – Taylor Momsen, who I swear has perfected the art of walking a carpet without ever missing a beat!

Work it out girl!

Absent on the carpet was Badgley’s on and off screen lover – Blake Lively, who popped up at the premieres’ after-party.

I will certainly Netflix list the flick – don’t rightly think I need to run to my local theater, even if the cast seems fairly interesting.

Winter Gossip Girl Set

The kids on “Gossip Girl” earned their pay while filming the current season of the hit show on the UES in NYC yesterday afternoon.

It was not only icy cold but, in the course of their exterior scene, the trio of Jessica Szohr, Penn Badgley and hotness himself – Chace Crawford, put up a brave luck of the draw face as their filming rolled into an untimely snow storm.

I will concede that they are real troopers cuz when the snow thickened – going from flurries to barely able to see down the block, I was fit to spit.

Fortunately for the stars of the day, the director took pity on them and sent them inside while the scene was reconfigured for alternate angles.

When the cast concluded their taping, the scene quickly turned into a menacing pap-per and fan get-your-shot-before-they-reach-their-trailer fiasco that left a few uptown ladies shocked and dismayed.

Lets hope Chace was smart enough to have on a union-jack thermal suit to keep those valuable jewels toasty!

Last of Gossip Girl 08 Sets

2008 is a thing of the past. A close distant memory to look back on while contemplating the innocence of it all.

Yeah, I didn’t buy it either.

If its not one drama its another. You can’t win for loosing!

At least there are respites in the works for us all. And thankfully we can continue to count on the romantic turbulence of Blake Lively and Penn Badgley if only on TV. Seriously, these two have milked the lets be together, but lets take a break, but lets stay involved script for a bit now. And by the looks of the scene the dynamic duo were taping – its not letting up anytime soon.

I would luv to watch the off-set romps of these two… I wonder who likes to be on top? My $$$ is on Blake… She seems like a take charge kinda girl. And I suspect twink Penn doesn’t mind!

Penn and Waiting

Penn Badgley is young and handsome. At 22, his bone structure is a virtual pantie dropper. (Blake’s are never on, I reckon…)
So as I strolled alongside the park a few days ago, I knew something was happening when my own undies started to get antsy.

Nearing the Museum Mile, I spotted Badgley braving the winter cold while filming “Gossip Girl” scenes with his off-camera steady – Blake Lively.

I find observing a film set to be fairly engrossing. So I stopped! And while trying to keep my fast falling undergarment on, I managed to get this photo… It looks like Badgley is thinking “if I have to do this one more fucking time!” Alrite, that’s what I was thinking but as his scene was less then 30 seconds long, but required multi-takes, I think his facial expression is saying “I’m so over it.” Odd because if someone payed me to play pretend while dressed up, I’d be all light and gay! (Shut it!)

Badgley, it seems, isn’t of the same thought. In a recent GQ interview twinky says “I can do this role with my eyes closed and my arms behind my back. What I’m looking for now is something challenging.” Hmmm, interesting statement. Penn adds that he “always jokes with the show’s creators, ‘Anytime you want me to do drugs or contemplate suicide, I’ll do it.’”

But in truth Twinky seemed all wonderful as soon as his moment camera que arrived at the top of the courtyard. I reckon that’s why he has the position!

Penn n Blake

They are a darling couple. She has enough hair to withstand grabbing a fistful during a passionate climax and he has the bone structure to get things wet just by looking at him.

Of course the duo I’m referring to are Gossip Girl’s real live paramours Blake Lively and Penn Bagdley. Twosome are notorious for making the spectacle of arriving in the same car but parting company when nearing press members, leaving some on the line beseeching a two shot. Such was the case last night at the Fashion Group Int’l Night of Stars awards.

Quite smart actually – once you get to processing it. They may be shagging on and off set but perpetually doing photo ops together bombards the psyche with a two for one theme. (Think Bennifer mess!) Now, I LUV me a two for one – the more the merrier actually, but folks do start to think of your luvs as one entity and lo and behold, when its over, you can’t get the rags to stop harping on the shit with their endless “what really happened” cover stories and… well you get picture…

A dumb blond she ain’t. And why share your spotlight any damn way is my question…
