Mel Gibson films The Beaver in the Bronx

Occassionally, not often, Hollywood goes and does something that shocks the fuck out of us.  Here is one for the records.  Mel Gibson, Anton Yelchin and Jodie Fosters’ flick “The Beaver,” is finally getting the light of day. 

As proof – here is the trailer for the flick that filmed in various locales in NYC – including the Bronx, Westchester and Brooklyn.

I would have sworn on a testicle that this project was chucked off – as in written off – and scrapped as a loss, partially due to Gibson’s top-tiered gentile non-grata ranks within the chosen folk ranks.  But No!

Seems like the powers at be are willing to take the loss public and release the film anyway.

Wow.

Now, we here at RTnM ain’t judging Mad Max…  Not in the least.  The one time hotness and down under actor/director/producer has always been someone we have been willing to watch in just about anything – but we admit that his antics have made us raise an eyebrow or two…  on more than one occassion.

We wish Gibson all the best on this and any future projects and hope he’s put his demons to bed – with some good ass lube.

Mel Gibson: Dad at Fifty-Three

Mel Gibson, onetime hotness of such films as “Mad Max,” “Lethal Weapon,” “Hamlet,” and “Forever Young,” has become a dad, again, reports RadarOnline.

This marks child number eight for Gibson, seen here on the set of “The Beaver,” but first with his “home-wrecker” mistress-girlfriend – Oksana Grigorieva.

Oksana popped a baby girl out on Friday – a few weeks earlier than expected. Mother and baby are fine and reportedly at home with mega-rich daddy.

One person who is assuredly not pleased with the arrival of the new addition is Gibson’s soon to be ex-wife – Robyn Gibson, mother of his seven other children – six boys and one girl (pictured below,) who filed for divorce back in April of this year after 29 years of married “bliss.”
Hollywood is waiting with bated breadth for this divorce results as Gibson is said to be worth some $900 Million in total.

Foster and Yelchin: On Beaver Set

There have been few times when I have crossed over and told an artist that I am a fan of their work. Diana Ross for example… And yes, I called her Ms. Ross!

I don’t rightly expect much in return from this action. The customary and standard issue ‘thank you’ generally suffices. But not this time…

It all started with a sunny day and my venturing into the heart of the Bronx to attempt a photo of the folks on set of “The Beaver.” And true enough the gang was all there.

A pap’er allegedly angered Mel Gibson by crossing into his eye-line – from half a block away – and this caused a moment. As the crew broke for lunch, I headed back to a shady area when who do I spot a few feet from me but the legendary Jodie Foster. Clarice herself!

I quickly raise my camera and snap a few keepsakes and hear myself say – as she walks right by me, ‘I’m a huge fan of yours, Ms. Foster.’ Girlfriend never skipped a beat and just kept on going! Never once looking up.

No thank you. Fuck you. Or otherwise! Rude.

Well, I hung around long enough to catch this little pic of the special one with Anton Yelchin as they made their way back to the set after lunch and called it a day. And kindly thank the duo for the keepsake.

Mel “Mad Max” Gibson can be currently found pleasing himself while fondling “The Beaver,” in between takes of the Jodie Foster directed film.

I must say that he handles it really well and I dare venture to say that, even at his age, I’d let that seasoned thespian play with my beaver…

The duo were in DumBo last night shooting a restaurant scene and, as I scaled a jungle-gym swing set (nearly maiming my own beav) to get a better angle on the 2nd story shoot, cuz I’m all things athletic – Mr. Gibson took notice of me and must have assuredly wondered ‘WTF is his malfunction?’

I am gleeful that his recent court results were in the favorable kind. Although, I am not one who thought that this would result any other way.

Lets face it is MEL GIBSON!

Anton Yelchin: The Beaver

Anton Yelchin – the Russian scene stealing twink in “Star Trek,” can be currently found filming “The Beaver.”

Starring opposite legends Mel “Mad Max” Gibson and forever youthful looking lesbian – who does double duty directing as well as starring – Jodie Foster, one could say that his star has truly risen. Kudos 2 you comrade!

I raced my ass to get a glimpse of all mentioned as I don’t rightly think I have ever laid eyes on Ms. Foster here on the East coast.

My day paid off!
