Marvel brought “Ant-Man,” their latest comic book to big screen installment, to screen in NY, yesterday, held at Chelsea’s SVA Theater.
Michael Douglas, Paul Rudd, Corey Stoll, Andrew Rannells and Bobby Cannavale were all in attendance for the Audi hosted showing.
But it was Watchmen’s Malin Akerman who walked away with the spotlight. Read the rest of this entry »
Uber talent, and all around funny lady, Melissa McCarthy joined her dashingly handsome British costars – Jason Statham, Peter Serafinowicz and the yumness of Jude Law – to premiere her new comedy “Spy,” last night, on Manhattan’s UWS.
The event went up against – quite literally across the street from – the likes of a certain annual fashion awards event at Lincoln Center.
We weighted our options carefully and, no matter how we sliced across it, the resounding winner, by a landslide, was always McCarthy and team. Read the rest of this entry »
We’ve known of Sofia Vergara’s allure for years. Before the big cross-over and the run-a-way ABC comedy Modern Family hit mainstream and made the Colombian actress a household name, we used to photograph her at Latin themed events in Miami and a few in Los Angeles. She was always gracious, sweet natured and well poised at paying her dues.
Well, cha-ching! The royalties on those said dues are now rolling in for the statuesque beauty. Read the rest of this entry »
They say that the couple that plays together, stays together. We don’t know who the hell ‘they’ are or where ‘they’ are located. But we like the sound of it so we’ll let it slide.
We caught real life couple Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale braving the wintry/rainy climate yesterday to begin their joint movie project “Brother’s Keeper,” currently filming on location in NY. Read the rest of this entry »
With every Tom, Dick, Jane and Mary out west in the land of sunshine for the Globes we thought it only prudent to support those who’ve stayed behind and actually work at their craft. So we pondered our options and decided on stopping by the Brother’s Keeper set, on their first day of on-location filming, to catch Nick Kroll and his costars Paula Garces and Jason Mantzoukas get the new indie flick underway. We can’t begin to tell you what stumbling across these here full-frontal screen grabs of hotness Bobby Cannavale in Boardwalk Empire brought on for us. It was like having a cold-sweat fainting spell with an outer-body experience – simultaneously.
Once we came to and suppressed another bout of the vapors we were left jonesing to be afforded an internship on the shows costume department.
We have a whole new lever of desire for the tall 6.2 1/2 thespian.
It is also nice to see he is anatomically correct! And that’s soft. Heaven help whoever gets to ride that erect.

“The Other Guys'” world premiere took place in NYC last night. And the step-and-repeat seemed to go on for a lifetime – even with some cast members missing.
We rarely get THE premiere here in gotham – sometimes we get overlooked entirely. Salt for instance! So this truly was a big to do.
Eva Mendes rocked a grey cocktail dress and black stilettos – the bow was diviine girl!, while her costars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg and Ray Stevenson looked all so handsome.
But it was Ray Stevenson who caught my attention. Why, you may ask? Well you might recall him from the HBO “Rome” series. He played that kickass alpha-male with a heart of gold. On the carpet he exuded testosterone and I was giddywith excitement. I swear I wanted to leap into his arms and find myself protected and manhandled! (Don’t you judge now…)
Also in attendance were the yummy Bobby Cannavale, Steve Coogan, Damon Wayans Jr. and Mr. Samuel L. Jackson – who I happened to spot at Jones Beach a few weeks ago sporting a Speedo. No, I didn’t have time to snap a photo. The camera is not attached to a limb I tell y’all!
Other notable attendees: Brooke Shields, Lindsay Sloan, Jimmy Fallon, Rob Thomas, Zoe Lister Jones – wearing what can only be described as a “American Pie faux-pas – and Tess Kartel.
